Frank Dukepoo is a Native American male in genetic science. He was born in a Native American reservation in Arizona. He was part of the Hopi tribe. He was the first Native American in the Hopi tribe to get a Ph.D in zoology (genetic emphasis).
An accomplishment he made is he improved Native American education. He improved it by inviting Native American students to his house and would teach them for 2-3 hours a day. In 1 week they improved up to nearly 40%. Another life accomplishment is he had 5 scholarships to great schools but once they realized he was Native American he lost them. When he realized he lost them his GPA went down to a 1.2GPA . But then a teacher from one of the schools he got a scholarship told him to not give up which made him not want to keep on going. So he didn't and he went from a GPA of 1.6 to a 4.0 GPA. He finally got into a school but everybody made fun of him for his race but he didn't let that get to him so he ended up graduating.
After he graduated he then went on in the education business and taught biology at Northern Arizona University. He and his students conducted research on birth defects in southern Arizona. He also was an amateur magician and a saxophone player who played with various music groups. He then died in 1999 because of natural causes.
