Another accomplishment was for coordinated research for the Tank Automotive Command in Warren, Michigan. She developed methods that prevented microorganisms from contaminating fuel.
Some additional information is that she studied microorganisms, living things like bacteria and fungi. Some of them were harmful to the human body. She also did microbial research for the U.S army. Dorothy has done a lot for this world learning about fungi and how some are dangerous.
